On 17 and 18 of October has been held the 50th years of Club of Rome Conference. The Club of Rome describes itself as “an organization of individuals who share a common concern for the future of humanity and strive to make a difference”. Our mission is to promote understanding of the global challenges facing humanity and to propose solutions through scientific analysis, communication and advocacy. the Club is note for its first report “The limits of growth” in 1972, which warned about the risks connected to the exponential economic and population growth with a finite supply of resources.
During the Conference the members of the Club of Rome have launched a new warning: the growing of the global temperature is running to the dangerous limit of 3 grades, that the scientists consider incompatible with the ecosystems necessary of human survival. But changing the future is still possible: eliminating the fossil fuels in the next 32 years.
